The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # RP26FR you referenced will fit the OEM puck system in your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500. That being said, when you say standard bed I assume that you mean the bed is shorter than 8'.

If this is the case then you could run into some turning clearance issues, due to the shorter bed length, and should instead go with a sliding fifth wheel hitch like the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3775.

This sliding hitch is going to give you an extra 12" of turning clearance so that the nose of your fifth wheel doesn't take out the cab of your Silverado when you need to make tight turns.

Another option to increase your turning clearance would be to swap out the pin box on your trailer with a rotating pin box. This pushes the pivot point back 22" allowing for maximum turning clearance. Pin boxes have very specific bolt patterns so you will need to know the bolt pattern to find the correct replacement.

I need to know what hitch Curt or other that will fit our 2022 Chevy 2500HD Standard bed (6.5') that has the Gooseneck/5th wheel system installed. Wanted a direct mount into the puck system.

@Terri If your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 has the factory GM puck system installed in the bed then you'll want the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3775. You'll need a sliding base since your have a short bed and all other Curt and Reese options would require an adapter in order to mount into the puck system. Demco does have an Autoslide # DM79GV designed to fit GM's puck system, but it's quite a bit heavier than the Companion and a little bit more pricey. The trade off for this is that the Autoslide automatically slides back as you turn, whereas the Companion would require you to get out and change it's position in the base in order to gain additional turning clearance and then place it back in the towing position when done turning. The Companion is well known as an industry leader and it's what my family has so I can't praise it enough.
