To add a hitch to your 1999 Mercedes E320 you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C11830. This hitch is custom fit for the E320 wagon and bolts to it with included hardware. This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. This is the only hitch available for your car.
For a compatible wiring harness, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236. This will provide you with a 4-flat connector to control your trailer or accessory's lighting functions.
If you are planning on towing you will also need the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
