Recommended Bike Rack for a Cyclete Bike W/ A 54" Wheelbase
Question:
Is the limitation of a 48inch wheelbase accurate? I see pics of some big bikes on this rack. I am looking for something for my Cyclete and I like the way the HLY94FR attaches to the frame. I currently use the clamp down type rack and I have to use extra velcro straps so the bike is secure. Here is a pic of my Cyclete on my current rack. Its a bit of an optical illusion - The tires do not stick out that far from the vehicle. It is a 54inch wheelbase with 29inch wheels.

The 48" maximum wheelbase on the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HLY94FR is accurate. So, for your Cyclete bike with a 54" wheelbase, I recommend using the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR.
This bike rack has a maximum capacity of 80-lbs per bike for a total of 160-lbs, a 60" maximum wheelbase, and will work with tires up to 5" wide.
