Figuring Out Where To Place the Pivot Arms On B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
How do I determine the correct set of holes to use to obtain the the proper height and 6 inch of clearance between the bed rails and camper? Also - how do I determine which way should the arms be placed, angle forward or angle back? 2023 Ford F-450 longbox.

The height determination for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W is determined by measuring from the top of your truck bed floor to the ground, and then from the pin box to the ground when parked on a level surface. The way the arms are angled though is just going to depend on the clearance you need, which is at least 5 inches from the back of your truck to the closest part of your trailer.
