What Is The Length Of The Ultra-Fab Twin II Stabilizer Mounting Bracket
Question:
What is the length of the mounting bracket? The one that will be attached to the frame? For the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Manual Stabilizer for Trailers and RVs - 30inch Lift - 6,000 lbs Item # UF39-941704 And what dictates using the 22inch or the 30? I know the distance to the ground. But what are the distance inches that will determine one or the other?

Expert Reply:
The mounting bracket for the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Manual Stabilizer # UF39-941704 is approximately 35-3/8" in length. The frame height would dictate the amount of lift you would want but there are other factors to take into account.
The placement of the stabilizer could lead you running into clearance issues when going up or down a steep hill so if you'd prefer to have as much clearance as possible then you'd go with the 22" # UF39-941707. The trade off is that you'd most likely have to use more leveling blocks to make up the difference.
If your trailer frame sits at 22" or higher then you'd want to switch to the 30" # UF39-941704 since the 22" would either not touch the ground or need to use numerous blocks. Essentially you could make either one work but you might have to purchase additional items to offset the gap.
