Air Lift Compressor Kit Recommendation for Maintaining a Desired PSI Rating in Firestone Air Bags
Question:
This compressor kit says it is for light duty occasional towing. I have 2014 Sierra 1500 with a McGaughys 4/6 lowering kit and the McGaughys helper bags Firestone bags. I will be towing a 5000Lb boat and trailer on the weekends and sometimes for a few hundred miles. Will this kit be able to do what I want it to do and keep my bags aired up to whatever psi I need?

The Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25592 that you referenced would work well for your setup. By light and medium duty it means trucks that are just like yours, lighter payload trucks towing lighter weights.
This compressor kit is also confirmed to work on Firestone bags so it should work well in that regard as well. This system will always make sure that there is at least 10 psi in the bags (this is the minimum rating for most bags). When you're towing you will most likely want more pressure than that so you will need to activate the compressor to inflate the bags to the desired psi.
If you are looking for something that would allow you to select any desired PSI rating and it would take care of maintaining that pressure if it somehow was lost you would want the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980.
