Can I Reuse 5th Wheel Base Rails With New Mounting Brackets In A Different Vehicle
Question:
I have a reese 16k pro fifth wheel hitch, I installed it on a 2012 ford short box. Will my rails fit for the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit without the Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches. My base rails are in perfect condition and would like to install them for a 2020 dodge ram 2500, if rails woulf fit do you sell the underbed brackets with the hardware. Thanks in advance

Typically if your rails and brackets are from the same brand they're pretty universal, but there are a few outliers (older versions) out there that might not match up perfectly so I would need to know the part number of the rails in order to confirm that they're compatible.
The Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # RP50054-58 you referenced is made up of part # RP50054 for the brackets and part # RP58058 for the rails. If you wanted to you could just order the brackets to see if the bracket mounting holes line up with the mounting holes in the rails. If not, then you could just order the # RP50054 rails. Since you said they're still in good condition I'm assuming they're probably somewhat newer and you shouldn't have any issues.
