You will want to check your brakes and bearings (and repack the bearings) either every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. When it comes to replacing those parts it's just a matter of checking to see if they are worn down or damaged prior to replacing them. There are so many variables when it comes to wear and tear on those parts that there isn't a set number or range when to change them which is why we have the maintenance schedule. As long as you stick to that you should be just fine!
Attached is a link to our recommended maintenance schedule for you to check out.
When it comes time to replace your bearings and seals your 2020 Coachmen 257BHS has 3,500 lb axles so you'll need the following:
- Hub Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle # BK2-100
- LubriMatic Prime Guard High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease # L11380
- Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA
