Do Bronze and Plastic Bushings Get Installed Together for Replacement Equalizer Kit

Question:

Well i bought the cre 3000 10" / 42" axle spread with the up graded morryde wet bolt kit... very nice looking. So the leaf springs i found to meet all dimensions length wise 30" double eye, well everything i purchased said 9/16 bolts , well your items were spot on. The leaf springs are 9/16 but with a dang plastic insert which means the metal eye is bigger and the brass sleeve for the shackles does not fit. Have a couple ideas but not sure how long theyll last, open the plastic so i can install the morryde sleeve, some how squeeze the eye closed enough to hold the morryde sleeve., or pay morer shipping to send it back and hopefully they have the right ones. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My 2017 keystone bullet 42 wide stance is not very easy to shop for, dexter made what was in it, but they didnt even offer replacement parts, wish id known this before i bought trailer. Thanks for your time.

The bronze bushings that come with the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR you're pairing with the MORryde Shock Absorbing Equalizers # MR54AR can be used to replace the plastic bushings that came installed in your leaf springs. Either bushing will accept your 9/16" wet bolts which is why they both won't fit together.

If you choose to remove the plastic bushing you just need to push it out of the leaf spring. Jump to about the 6 minute mark of the linked installation video and you'll see our installer removing the bushing.
