Replacement Equalizer Needed for Dexter Axle Equalizer 13-142
Question:
Replacement for Dexter Suspension Equalizer 13-142 etrailer has already been asked in the past and was unable to answer the question. Maybe now? The suspension upgrade kits that I have found will not replace the equalizer on my Prime Time Tracer. The equalizers two bottom holes are 14 3/4 inches apart, the tandem axles are 42 inches apart. Is anyone making something that will fit such a large span? Thanks!

If you are simply needing to replace some worn equalizers then we actually do carry the part you are searching for. It is listed as part # K13-142-02 on our site and is a direct replacement for the 13-142 equalizer that you referenced. I confirmed this with my contact at Dexter Axle.
If you are looking to upgrade your current equalizers then no, there is no equalizer upgrade we currently carry that will directly fit the large dimensions that you referenced. You would have to change out your shackle straps and possibly get longer leaf springs if you wanted to upgrade. Let me know if this is the route you would like to go and I can help you with those parts.
