Is there an actuator made to fit a 4inch tongue ?

You could weld an actuator like the Dexter Drum Brake Actuator part # T1607500 to the top of your trailer tongue but there isn't one that fits around a 4 inch wide tongue. If your brakes are disc instead you'd want the part # T4749600.

In order to choose a brake actuator you need to first choose one that meets or exceeds the GTWR of the trailer. You also want to choose one that matches the hitch ball you are using, the type of brakes (disc or drum), and fits your trailer tongue.…
