I would be happy to help you. The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator item # DX33FR you were looking at will work with trailers weighing up to 7,500 lbs. It requires a 2" ball and fits a straight 3" wide trailer tongue.

It works best with drum brakes and has a manual lockout so you can back up without the brakes engaging.

This hydraulic actuator will activate your trailer's brakes when your tow vehicle slows or stops. It has a bolt on installation and mounts on top of the trailer tongue not inside a channel.

If this one doesn't work for you. Please email me back with some specifics about your trailer, trailer tongue size, type of brakes, ball size on your vehicle, and weight. With this information I can find you the right one.
