Can Landing Gear be Used on Gooseneck Trailer
Question:
I have a sawmill trailer. It weighs between 2.5-3k lbs. It is a gooseneck. To use sawmill, trailer must be level. I was hoping to add two jacks to the rear 3K capacity each and a landing gear replacement on front to level my sawmill trailer. Currently gooseneck trailers landing gear isnt functioning. Could I use this Landing Gear in combo with two rear jacks to slightly lift and level my sawmill trailer? If so, which weld on jacks would you recommend for the rear of the trailer. Thanks

I don't see any reason why your gooseneck trailer can't use the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8HDL. Then for rear jacks you can weld onto the frame, a sidewind jack would seem to be the best option, the Square Direct Weld Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Sidewind - 28-7/8" Lift - 7,000 lbs # TJD-7000S.
