Will the Electric Jack # EJ-3520-WBX Still Function If There Are Two 30-AMP Fuses On The Power Wire?

Hello, Do I need to remove the old 30 amp fuse or can I just leave it in place when installing new Jack EJ-3520-WBX In other words, is it ok to have two 30 amp fuses on the jack wire? The old fuse Is hard to reach but I can remove it if advised. Is 12 inches from the power source close enough for new fuse location? Thanks

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-WBX will still operate if you have multiple 30-amp fuses on one circuit. I would recommend still removing the other fuse as if something were to cause one of the fuses to become damaged you or someone else checking the circuit may only check the one fuse and think it must be something else.
Yes, 12" is close enough to the power source to protect the jack and wiring.
