I’m looking for an electric jack for a boat trailer Shorelander that has an easy connection— no drilling into trailer. Is this model suitable, or can you recommend one? Boat + trailer combined total weigh lt is ~ 6500 lbs, tandem axle.

We currently only carry one side-mounted trailer jack, the Fulton XLT Powered Drive Trailer Jack # F141401. This jack uses u-bolts to clamp onto the frame of the trailer so you won't have to drill into the frame. There's a few different sized bolts included in the kit to help fit 3" to 5" trailer frames. It has a 2,500lb capacity, which should be more than enough for the tongue weight of your trailer.

This jack is designed for marine use so it comes with a 1,200 hour salt spray rating for the exterior components and 600 hour salt spray rating for the internal components for a longer lifespan than regular electric trailer jacks.

I've attached a short video below where Randy will show you how to install this jack on a trailer.
