Replacement RV Door Gas Shock Recommendation
Question:
I need a entry door actuator for my RV. I see a few on your website that match size but I dont know which pressure I need. The size appears to be 11.3" and 20" measured to center of pin clips.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For an RV Entry door gas shock the Gas Shock # 372-5300-20 with 20 lbs of force should be sufficient to make opening and closing your door fairly easy. Since the stickers on your shock don't have the lbs of force listed I recommend going with this and then if you end up needing something with more strength down the road you can go that route - it will be much better to have a little less power than a little more power.
Worst case scenario you can try to find a sticker for the door manufacturer and see if they have a standard strength they use if you want to double check.
