Furrion's 4G LTE WiFi router connects your devices to the internet, providing you with secure, private access. Furrion's rooftop antenna (FAN73B7C - sold separately) is required to power the router - the antenna comes pre-installed on some RVs.

4G LTE WiFi Router

The Furrion router connects you to the internet primarily through 4G LTE signals, but you can also tap into external WiFi and save your data for when you are in more remote areas. The automatic switch can be activated to move between 4G and WiFi whenever you come into contact with external WiFi signals.

The router also supports LAN (Ethernet) and GPS systems, and receives VHF, UHF, FM, and AM frequencies.

Furrion App

The Furrion app - available for iOS and Android devices - lets you access your account and manage your data plan.

Furrion Data Plans

Please note: the 4G LTE WiFi router will only accept Verizon data plans.

Installation

Many new RVs today have Furrion's rooftop antenna pre-installed. If your RV has the antenna mounted on the roof, on the inside of your RV, you will find the ceiling mount bracket attached to the bottom of the antenna with a detachable box that slides off. When you slide the router onto that bracket, power will be provided immediately. If you want to completely turn the router off, simply remove it from the ceiling mount bracket.

See what our Experts say about this Furrion RV Antennas

  • Why Is The Furrion Access RV Router Still Available If There Isn't Data Service
I spoke with Furrion and was informed that back in November the company that they paired with for service dropped the accounts so the Furrion Access RV 4G LTE Router w/ WiFi Extender # FAN17B8B will currently only function as a wifi extender. They did state that you can contact them directly for instructions to convert to a Verizon sim card and still have service.

  • Does the Furrion WIFI Antenna Replace My HDTV Antenna
You won't be able to use your King Jack HDTV antenna to pick up the signal of the Furrion 4G LTE WiFi Router # FAN17B8B, so you will need to use the Furrion antenna # FR57FR in order to get the most out of the signal on this unit. It's not required, but it definitely will help you get better 4G LTE reception on this unit. You can still leave your King Jack HDTV antenna installed to provide you with your OTA television signal, but the Furrion # FR57FR also serves that purpose if needs...

  • Will The Furrion Omnidirectional Rooftop RV Antenna Work With Any Router
The Furrion Omnidirectional Rooftop RV Antenna - 12V # FAN73B7C only works with the Furrion Access LTE router that comes with it or the Furrion Access RV 4G LTE Router w/ WiFi Extender - 150 Mbps # FAN17B8B so you won't be able to use any other routers.

  • Will the Furrion Access WiFi Router Boost Signal Strength from a Cellular Hotspot
The Furrion Access WiFi Router/Booster part # FAN17B8B would do a much better job of transmitting signal to your other devices when compared to using the hotspot feature on your cellphone. However, you must purchase a data plan for the device as it would not work to boost the signal from your cellphone while being used as a hotspot according to Furrion. To extend the reach of your signal you can also add the Omnidirectional Rooftop Antenna for Furrion Access Router part # FAN73B7C but this...

  • How Do You Purchase the Data Plan for the Furrion Access WiFi Router/Booster
The data plan needed for the Furrion Access WiFi Router/Booster part # FAN17B8B will be purchased through Furrion, Furrion Access specifically. Once you obtain the device, there will be a telephone number on the back of the box that you will call to register the device and set up a data plan for using the serial number on the actual device. The process would be very similar to setting up a phone through a provider such as AT&T, Verizon, Etc.

  • Troubleshooting TV Signal Furrion Omnidirectional Rooftop RV Antenna
Your antenna, such as the 12V Furrion Omnidirectional Rooftop RV Antenna, # FAN73B7C, should be connected to the cable that twists on to your RV TV (see attached photo). If you don't have an antenna on your travel trailer then you won't be able to use that function on your TV. If you do have an antenna then you'd need to either follow the wire that is connected to this part on your TV so you can see if there is a box to power on or contact your trailer manufacturer or dealer to see if they...
