Looking to tow a 2023 Keystone raptor 424 with a 2022 Chevy 2500hd. Dry weight on rv is 15,500lbs. I do not have a factory puck system in my truck. Do I need a slider? Will I bed rails for this hitch?

Since you have a short be I do recommend going with a sliding hitch for extra turning clearance so that you don't turn too far and end up smacking the cab of the truck with the nose of the trailer. Without the puck system you have the option of going with bed rails, which sit above the bed permanently and will take up space, or using a B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch and their Companion hitch.

If you want base rails then I recommend the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 along with the custom fit rails # BWRVK2505. This hitch will give you an additional 12" of turning clearance and the custom fit brackets will make installation of the base rails fast and easy.

If you'd like a clear bed then I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W along with the Turnoverball hitch # BWGNRK1020-5W. This will also give you an additional 12" of turning clearance and will give you a completely clear bed when not in use.

Of the two options I personally prefer the Companion and Turnoverball hitch as it gives you a clear bed and also the option to pop in the included gooseneck ball to tow a gooseneck trailer.
