Dimensions of Curt Weld-On 2" Receiver for Custom Fabricated Hitches

Question:

What size tube would you recommend welding this mount on? What is the Plate thickness and the over all width of the receiver tube? 2.5? Im using it to attach 1 a rear tow out point Tounge would be 106 Over-all Total Length for a single attachment point to the vehicle hitch, with a 3.5x5 carry-on trailer extended 2foot for a basket. 2 A elevated mount for the trailer connection so I can raise the trailer mounting point. I have a Jeep Wrangler with 4inch and 40s so I have a large gap to fill. The trailer is going to be running a 3500lb spring over axle on 33s I will also be using a lock an roll hitch at the vehicle attachment point and most likely just a d ring in the rear or the trailer or a bike rack.

The plates on the Curt Weld-On 2" Receiver for Custom Fabricated Hitches # E17 are 1/4" thick. The receiver tube is 2-1/2" wide, or 3" if you count the collar at the opening. For a tube size, I would discuss that with the fabricator or welder that will install it. You will need something that can handle the weight you plan to tow/carry and that will fit in the correct spot for installation.
