Recommended Combo Bar With 2 Inch Receiver Opening To Weld To Horizontal Crossbar
Question:
How do the flanges aid in welding? If this is going on a horizontal cross bar, I dont get it, please explain. I need two receivers welded on a horizontal cross bar, if the cross bar were the same dimension as the receiver tube, the flanges would be helpful if configured differently.

The flanges on part # E17 are spaced 2-3/8 inches apart and designed to be welded to a bar that fits between them.
We also have a couple combo bars that may work better for you. The first is part # E-9. This is a 6 inch combo bar that has a 2 inch receiver opening and a collar.
The next combo bar we offer is part # E-11. This bar measures 12 inches long and it also has a 2 inch receiver opening and a collar attached.
Since you said you are wanting to weld it to a horizontal cross bar, either of these combo bars will probably do the trick.
