I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e36RR for your 2017 Lincoln MKX because it has a matte black finish that looks better and blends in more with any black trim on your vehicle. This has a hidden crosstube so only the receiver will be seen as you can see in the linked video and photo on a 2017 Ford Edge.
