How to Determine Grease Seal For 2004 Viking Saga Trailer

Question:

2004 Viking Saga 2107 pop up with 7” x 1 1/4” brakes want to know what is the right inner grease seal for this trailer. Would like to order everything together instead of having to go get the grease seals after taking the hubs off.

We can tell you how to find the correct grease seal, but you'll have to take the hubs off as we don't have any way of knowing what grease seal a 2004 Viking Saga trailer uses. So in order to find the correct hubs you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the seal; wipe away the grease and you may be able to see the part number stamped on it. If you are unable to find it you need to use a digital caliper to measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings ride, like in the photo I added.

For example if you measured and got 1.249" the correct part is the Double Lip Grease Seal - ID 1.249" / OD 1.983" # 34823.

I have added a link below to our entire selection of seals which you can filter by diameter.
