Trailer Wiring Harness Differences for a 2022 Hyundai Palisade and 2023 Hyundai Palisade

Following up on Conner Ls answer to Paul How To Install T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness On 2023 Hyundai Palisade, it appears that the T-One Wiring Harness with ModuLite Powered Tail Light Converter worked for the 2022 Palisade without requiring a lead to the battery up front. Why is there not something similar for the 2023 Palisade?

The trailer wiring harness option for a 2022 Hyundai Palisade utilized a tow package port under the vehicle. The trailer wiring harness option for a 2023 Hyundai Palisade dos not utilize a tow package port under the vehicle therefore must plug in behind the tail lights. I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C43FV for this. In regards to the power wire, this needed to prevent drain on the vehicle's factory tail light circuits which can't handle the extra load from the trailer tail lights.
Unfortunately, we have no options at this time which do not require a power wire to be run. That said, if you do not feel confident in the install then I recommend you take advantage of our dealer locator tool on the product page. It's really not that hard though.
