Recommended 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness and Brake Controller for 2023 Hyundai Palisade
Question:
I am at my witts end trying to figure out how to get my 2023 Palisade XRT wired up for towing. I have the factory installed towing option but my vehicle came delivered without the tow bar and wiring harness. I am at the mercy like others on waiting for Hyundai to get things figured out. What can I have done to make my towing work??..I have a camper that needs power for electric brakes. I have the CURT Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller, 7-Way, Bluetooth Smartphone Connection. So ALL I need is to have the power back to my tow bar assembly...What can be used or done?? Thanks P.S. I have already purchased from you folks the CURT towbar assembly.

In regards to the wiring for your 2023 Hyundai Palisade, you'll need to go with a hardwire harness like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C59236. Then, you'll need an adapter, the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Wat part # ETBC7L which is designed specifically for the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180.
Unfortunately, there are no plug-in options for your vehicle currently as there is still an on-going issue on the manufacturing side of things with the tow package port under the bumper which has the potential to cause fires if used. The hardwire harness splices in behind the tail lights, bypassing the tow package port issue.
