Timbren Axle Less System for a 2004 Casita Freedom Travel Trailer
Question:
I would like to replace a 2004 Casita dexter torsion trailer axle with the timbren axle less suspension. Is the 2inch lift compatible?

The Timbren Axle Less System item # A35RS545E is somewhat similar to a torsion axle. These mount to the sides of the trailer frame and use a rubber spring that is similar to a torsion spring for suspension. This kit comes with electric brake assemblies and hub/drums that have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
This system does not have any lift or drop. If your torsion axle is using a 2" lift kit you would need to remove it to install the Timbrens.
If you would like a set with a 2" lift you will want the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension item # TASR35HDS07.
