Recommended Parts to Flat Tow 2021 Jeep Wrangler with Steel Bumper

Hello, I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a steel bumper. I would like to be able to flat tow behind my RV. Would you please recommend some products I would need? I also noticed there is a sale on the Blue Ox Patriot 3 Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System - Proportional. Is that a good product that would work for my vehicle, or would you recommend a different braking system? Thank you, Larry

If you have a factory front bumper on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited then I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521453-5. If you have an aftermarket front bumper which has d-rings, you may be able to use the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars part # RM-035 or part # RM-035-1. These will both work great with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676 which is what I recommend using.

In order to complete your setup you'll also need the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154 and a braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR which is an excellent option for this vehicle. It will require the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332 for proper operation. These will be all that is needed to complete a flat-tow setup.
