Will I Need any Additional Wiring Or Adapters When Changing to LED Trailer Tail Lights?
Question:
Is this a direct replacement for a non-LED lighted trailer? Are there additional electronics needed? If I switch may trailer to these lights will they work right when towed with an older truck not equipped with LED lights?

The LED Trailer Tail Light w/ Flange # STL73RB will mount in place of your non-LED trailer tail lights. There are no other parts needed as the tail lights on your tow vehicle will control the flash rate. The lights will work with your older truck just like newer vehicles. The only exception is some Mercedes, Audi and other vehicles which have trailer lamp detectors built in which would confuse LED lights with a bulb being out. Those vehicles would need a Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass Adapter # 20142.
