Rough Ride with 2K SumoSprings on 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
Question:
I have a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2L with magnaride. I had a reputable shop install super springs to give me an extra 2000# load capacity when I was hauling a camper. i guess magnaride apparently wasn’t compatible with a compressor and air bag system. I feel like the ride has gotten rougher with the super springs but the truck has 37000 miles so could it be something else?

I do have some other options for you but adding suspension enhancements to a vehicle will more often than not decrease ride quality as they are designed to prevent sag and in order to do so you must increase firmness which leads to a rougher ride. Furthermore, there are very few options for a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali due to the MagneRide suspension.
It looks like you went with the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # SS29EV which are engaged all the time. If you're looking for an option that only engages when you're loaded I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SS95MR as they wont produce as rough a ride. There is also the option of the TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade with Quick-Disconnects part # TLA7310 which only engage them when you set them.
