Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller in 2018 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Hello, This 2018 Odyssey does not have factory tow package or wiring. Will be towing small travel trailer that has electric brakes. Do you sell a 7 pin wiring kit for this application? Also, is there a wiring kit for a brake controller that would fit this vehicle?

We can definitely help install a brake controller on your 2018 Honda Odyssey that does not have the factory tow package. You'll first need to have a 4-way installed if you do not already. For that you'd want the # 118781 which is custom fit so it installs easily. Next you'll need to convert it to a 7-way which for that we have the # ETBC7 that does that as well as comes with everything needed to wire up a brake controller. For a brake controller the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 is a really solid choice that works great and is very reliable. It uses an inertia sensor to determine how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and applies the trailer brakes with same intensity.
