Best Kenda 175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire and What Load Range to Select For a 3,500lb Trailer

Question:

Whats the difference between Kenda Loadstar and Kenda Karrier? I see the Loadstar shown as the economyinch option. I want to buy a 2 galvanized wheels and the best possible 175/80/13 radial tires. If I have a trailer and cargo that will never exceed a combined weight of 1800lbs, is there any benefit in going with LRD tires or should I stay with LRC tires? My axle is a 3500lb. Please, give me your recommendation. The cargo will be 2 ATVs on a 4x14 single axle trailer.

The Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10199 that is on the Wheel and Tire Package # AM31952 is Kendas best tire in this size. It is their KR03 tire line and uses Double steel belts and full nylon plies combine for superior function and long life. Kenda's Karrier tires will also state Load Star on them as well but it is the model KR03 which is their best for this size.

Since you are not going to exceed the 1,360lb capacity of each load range C tire you will not want to move up to the D Range Tire # AM10210. If you were to switch the trailer will bounce more as the sidewalls are stiffer and will not absorb as much of the road shock.
