Will the Draw Tite Cargo Carrier Fold Up When Attached to a 2011 Toyota Sienna

Will this carrier fold into the upright position on the Sienna?

In order to determine if the Draw-Tite Cargo Carrier # 6502 will fold up a single measurement is needed. That measurement is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper on your 2011 Toyota Sienna. I have attached a FAQ article that shows you how to take the correct measurement.
This Draw-Tite cargo carrier is designed to fit a 2 inch receiver opening and when it is folded up it measures 7-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier that would come in contact with your vehicle.
When we installed a Hidden Hitch/Draw-Tite and a Curt hitch on your model vehicle, we found that the clearance was either 4-1/2 or 5 inches, which would be enough room to allow the Draw-Tite carrier to fold up.
If you have a 2 inch receiver, I have the following options that you could also consider etrailer # e98874 - 9-1/2 inches - 24 x 60.
If you have a 1-1/4 inch receiver I have attached a link that will take you to available cargo carriers. At this time we do not offer folding carriers for the 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch.
Before you load any cargo, please check the weight capacity of your hitch. Remember to include the weight of the carrier as part of your total weight allowed on your hitch.
If you need tie downs check out the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Strap # EM34420. These come in a set of 4 and have a push button release which make them very easy to work. They also have vinyl-coated steel S-hooks which will not scratch your new cargo carrier.
