Hello, friends and neighbors. Welcome back, I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our Bulldog Winch 7-Piece Rigging Kit. Now this 7 piece rig kit is all rated at a minimum of 16,000 pounds of working load limit. Now you're gonna get a very nice 6" by 30' long recovery strap. So again, 6" wide, 30' long.
It's got very nice stitched hoop ins on it. Very, very sturdy. They're not gonna break on you or anything. It's got a nice cover here. It's got a nice, like, I wouldn't say nylon or neoprene, but kind like a wetsuit kind of material, I guess, if that makes sense.
You got a nice bag here. This bag will hold everything here in the kit, there's a view from the top down. It's also got a very nice hard plastic base, so that's gonna be very rigid, very heavy duty when you're sitting it on the ground, when you're doing your recoveries and whatnot. And over here you got a very, very nice snatch block. It comes with the grease circuit included, all the pins you can pull out.
One of 'em is a quick release so you can flip a lever, pull it out. You also get two very, very heavy duty 1" shackles, and you also get a very nice rope dampener bag. Now zoom in here on these 1" shackles. These bad boys are rated at 102,000 pounds of brake strength. And if you've never used these, you simply pull it out, put it back in, and you just hand tighten it and you're ready to go.
You also get a nice pair of gloves that come with the kit. Now, backing over here to the snatch block, this guy is rated at 32,000 pounds brake strength or brake capacity. Got the nice shackle up here. And again, that quick pin I was mentioning, you can simply flip this up, push that pin out and then you can get that shackle off of there. I'm gonna go ahead and leave it on right now though, just so it's not dropping on my way here. As I mentioned, you're gonna get this very nice rope dampening bag. Now if you're not familiar with what a rope dampening bag is, you would simply take this, filled up with rocks, possibly dirt, but rocks would be a lot easier and better weight, and what you do is you put this rope dampener, it's helping prevent your winch's wire rope from snapping back at you in the event of a break in the cable in the winch itself during recovery. So that weighted bag goes over the rope and if the rope snaps, it's gonna take the blunt of that kickback of that brake and absorb all that kinetic energy and that's gonna safely bring that wire to the ground and protect you in the vehicle and whatever else you're recovering. So like I said, this nice bag here, it's got pockets and everything on the sides as well. Both sides have those. These here are simply slots, but again, everything here fits in the bag. When you're all done, you can pack all up, carry it down the road. Very nice setup here, very nice quality, everything's super, super strong. Again, this is for a obviously a big recovery setup and everything here will get the job done, no problem whatsoever. Well, folks, that's a lot of information. I hope this information's been helpful to you. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Again, this is the Bulldog Winch 7-Piece Rig Kit. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
