Can You Back Up Trailer Using Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler
Question:
I have one of your Lock N’ Roll articulating hitches and was thinking off putting one on another trailer I have. It’s a 20’ galvanized boat trailer that I converted to hold 2 Hobie Pro Angler kayaks. Would I have any safety or backing up issues trading in my ball hitch for one of these?

There will be no safety issues and you can absolutely back up with the Lock N Roll articulating coupler, no matter which one you use. Backing straight up won't be problematic and it will even be a bit easier to maneuver when turning due to the articulation. I'm not sure what coupler you need for your trailer, so here are all the trailer-side Lock N Roll couplers:
- 2" Channel: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS528
- 2-1/2" Channel: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS506
- 3" Channel: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS508
- A-Frame: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS504
- Flat Plate Mount: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS514
- Adjustable Channel Mount: Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS502
