Recommended Supplemental Braking System for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Towed With a 2020 Toyota Tacoma

I bought a Tekonsha trailer braking system from you and installed it in my 2020 Tacoma. Is there a product I can buy to use this to control braking when I tow my 2005 Wrangler with the Tacoma? Thank you.

The Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System # HM39530 is currently the only style brakes for a flat towed vehicle that is controlled by a brake controller. You must use the brake controller which comes with this kit as it has different modes for trailer or flat towing unlike the Tekonsha controller you have. The Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter # 3031-S will allow you to wire in the Brake Buddy controller and connect it to the factory connector on your 2020 Toyota Tacoma.
I recommend installing the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524 on your 2005 Jeep Wrangler. This will allow you to use the wireless controller in your Tacoma to make adjustments to the brake module. It also includes a charge line to maintain the battery in your Jeep off your Tacoma when being flat towed.
