To add a 5th wheel hitch to your 2016 Nissan Titan XD you will first need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan XD OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package item # DM6200. This adapter attaches to the integrated gooseneck hitch that come from the factory on your Titan and will provide you with a set of industry standard rails.

For a 5th wheel hitch, I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider item # C16521. This sliding 5th wheel hitch has a 16,000 lbs capacity. The two jaw system provides 360-degree jaw to kingpin contact. This provides you with a more secure and comfortable ride. The slider base will give you 12" of travel from front to back.

The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # C16521 can be mounted on industry standard 5th wheel rails. It will be compatible with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan xD OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package item # DM6200.

I have linked a picture and a couple videos below that will show you have these parts will function and what the Curt 5th wheel hitch will look like when installed.

Adding rear suspension like the Timbren item # TNRTTNA will not increase your Titan's towing capacity. No suspension products will do that.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56070 to your Titan. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.

Feel free to email me back if you have anymore questions.
