When choosing the correct trailer hitch to install on your 2023 Nissan Murano there are currently two choices to choose from but are very similar. There is The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98907 and then there is The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13205. Both hitches are made in The USA and both have a towing weight capacity up to 3,500 pounds and have a maximum tongue weight up to 350 pounds, but there is one thing different which makes one better then the other.
I recommend The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98907 over The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13205 because the etrailer hitch has a glossy paint that will help hide any scratches that you may get from road debris.
After installing the trailer hitch you will then need to Install The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56267. This harness will provide you with a 4-flat connector and make it to where your trailer's stop, turn, and taillights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn, and taillights. I recommend this harness over others because the wiring has a powered module that will pull power from your car's battery to avoid overloading the vehicle's electrical system.
To finish your towing journey you will also need The Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2 inch Hitches # C45554. This kit includes an 8-1/4 inch long, powder coated ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball; hitch pin and clip; hitch receiver lock with keys; hitch cover; and a storage case.
I attached two installation video links below of the etrailer hitch and the Curt wiring being installed on older Nissan Murano's the installation will be identical for your 2023 Nissan Murano.
