How to Remove the Rotor on 12k Dexter Disc Brake Kit
Question:
I am curious to know how to remove/replace the rotor on a 12k dexter disc hub. I see that there are rotor mounting studs but how am I supposed to remove/install them? Is there a particular tool or am I supposed to replace with new?

When removing the rotor on your 12k Dexter disc brakes, all you need to do is pull it off of the hub assuming you have already removed the caliper. The only thing that secures it to the studs is the wheel and lug nuts when you put the wheel on. It is possible that yours is giving you some difficulty if dirt or rust has built up in some way, but you should still be able to take it off. Just be careful to not damage anything else when trying to break it loose.
I have attached a video from the Kodiak # K2R1258L12 disc kit where you can see this. Starting at 2:30 you will be able to see how the rotor slides over the bolts, followed by the installation of the caliper, and is eventually secured once the wheel is on.
