I spoke with my contact at Jayco about your 2003 single axle trailer. There is no lift kit available but we may have an option for you.

If your 1-3/4 inch axle is round and you have underslung leaf springs, I recommend installing a new spring seat on top of the axle, like the Spring Seat for Typical 2000-lb, Round Trailer Axles, part # TRSS175. Simply flipping the axle is not an option because axles are made with a slight arc so that they can handle the load on the trailer. When placed under a load, the axles straighten a bit and more of the tire surface hits the pavement. If you turn the axle over, you would create negative camber of the wheel, and when a load is applied would cause even more negative camber, and uneven wear on the tires.

You would have to weld the new spring seat to the top of the axle and this would place the leaf springs on the top of the axle instead of under the axle. You can leave the old spring seats currently attached to the axle in place as they will not interfere with anything. The amount of extra lift you would gain would be based on the axle diameter, which is 1-3/4 inches, added to the height of the spring seat from the point it is welded to the axle to the top of the spring seat where the leaf springs attach, which is 9/16 inches, and then added to the thickness of the springs. I have attached a photo that shows the dimensions of the spring seat and how it would be positioned on top of the axle. The photo also shows what you would measure on the leaf springs.
