2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD short bed, 160,000 miles I carry a considerable amount of tools in the bed of the pickup in my remodeling business. The truck wallows in turns and the rear of the truck looks to be squatting about an inch or so. I wouldnt say the truck is severely over loaded, but does need support. I see that the stock bump stops in the rear are missing. Im debating air bags or Timbrens, or ? Thanks

I recommend the Timbrens for your 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD 2WD. They are going to give your Chevy the support it needs for its minor squat, but are also less expensive and less maintenance than air springs. The correct part number for your truck is the following:
