Will Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter Work With Bike Rack While Flat Towing Mini Cooper
Question:
Good morning, Is this hitch a good one to use to carry two bikes and to tow 4 down? The bikes weigh in about 30 lbs each and the bike rack is about 35 lbs. The tow car is a Mini Cooper Convertible that weighs roughly 2800 lbs. The hitch on the Motorhome we will use it on is a 5,000 pound hitch with 440 tongue weight. Thanks!!!

The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2" or 10" Drop/Rise # RM-077-10 will work well for your application assuming it has the rise/drop you need for flat towing your Mini Cooper. It is more than capable of handling your bike rack, and with that hitch capacity you won't have a problem. I have attached a helpful article on how to choose a high-low adapter below. I recommend measuring to ensure that this will keep your tow bar in the safe zone.
Since you will be carrying your bike rack I also recommend adding the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-061. This will help keep everything secure and eliminate any unwanted movement.
