Comparing Timbren Versus Torklift StableLoad For 2019 Ford F-150 Hauling a 5TH Wheel Camping Trailer
Question:
Timbren vs Torklift stableload, Are these redundant? Can you do both or is that a waste of time and money? I own a 2019 Ford F-150 and will be hauling a 10K 5th wheel and I dont want the squat. TX

The Timbren # TFR1504E and Torklift StableLoad # TLA7310 both work to reduce suspension sag on your 2019 Ford F-150 in different ways. First the Timbren is a rubber spring that is placed between the frame and axle. When the leaf springs begin to compress the Timbren springs will contact the axle and add additional support to the leaf springs which will reduce sag and provide more stability to the truck. The Torklift StableLoad places a wedge between the curved leaves in your leaf spring and the thicker flat spring(overload spring). As this does not allow for the curved springs to flex down to the overload spring it reduces the amount of sag by placing the weight on the overload spring.
You can use both of these systems together as they do mount to different portions of your suspension and will not interfere with each other. If you only occasionally use your F-150 for towing the Torklift # TLA7310 is the better option as it does allow you to swing the wedge out of the way and effectively ride on the factory suspension retaining the comfortable ride. The Timbren # TFR1504E provide the better support if you are only using your truck for hauling the 5th wheel or other heavy loads. Since these are always in place you will lose some of the normal travel out of your rear suspension when unloaded and it can create an undesirable, rougher ride for you and any passengers when not towing.
