Availability of Plug and Play Wiring Harness For Brake Controller on 2017 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have a stage IV towing pkg on Tacoma. Will brake controls just plug in or will I still need to do some wiring. I do not want bluetooth

The brake controller will plug into the factory tow port on your 2017 Toyota Tacoma as long as you get the correct wiring harness. The # RED52VR you were looking at comes with the universal harness. If you want the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR then the correct wiring harness would be the # RED99FR.
Since you have a Tacoma, there is also a mounting panel available for installation. The # 331-TPSI-002 will fit in place of one of your switch blanks, giving the control knob a factory look once installed.
