I’m purchasing a Rustic Trail Tear Grizzly. I’m pulling it with a 2010 Tacoma. The trailer has brakes. What brake controller and sway bar do you recommend?

Congrats on your new trailer. To add a brake controller to your 2010 Toyota Tacoma, I highly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that will engage your trailer's brakes when your Tacoma decelerates. It activates immediately and is not time delayed. The Tow-Pro Liberty has a unique installation method that allows you to mount the main control unit out of sight behind your dash. The only part visible is the control knob. This means no bulky controller to bang your knee on while driving.

We do not have any sway bars for your Tacoma but the Sway Command Electronic Sway Control System for Electric Trailer Brakes item # LC380605 you were looking at will work extremely well with your Rustic Trail Teardrop Grizzly. This system will allow you to control your trailer's sway and not have to worry about a bulky and loud weight distribution system. The electronic sway control is compatible with the Redarc brake controller.
