Length of Smooth Portion of Wet Bolts of MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit MR76ZR
Question:
Hi, could you please tell me the length of the wet bolts included in this kit. Measuring the smooth area of the shoulder bolts. From just under the head, down to where the smooth part stops and the threaded part begins. Im sure theres enough threaded part on the end to accept the nut. I just need to know how much smooth shaft of the bolt is available. They list two different lengths, Im assuming the shorter ones are for attaching the fixed eyes to the spring hangers, and also for the center pivot of the equalizer. Im most interested in the length of the longer ones. Building my own trailer, and making upgraded spring hangers of matching 1/2inch thick material, want to find extra length wet-bolts that will work with my heavy-duty spring hangers. Thanks.

The usable portion of the longer wet bolts that comes with the MORryde kit part # MR76ZR are designed to be used with a 1-3/4 inch wide leaf spring but the section of the bolt you are asking about is 2-1/4 inches wide. This is the smooth part of the bolt under the head to the threaded section.
