I need to plug my 30 amp travel trailer into a 20 amp rv park pedestal. Will this dogbone work? What are the drawbacks or need to know?

Yes, the Furrion RV Power Cord Adapter - 30A Female to 20A Male # FP3122RSB will work to convert your 30 amp service trailer to accept power from the 20 amp shore power pedestal. The drawback is that you'll not be getting full power to your trailer and will not be able to fully use everything in your trailer like you normally would.

This means you may not be able to run your AC depending on the power draw it has.
