Recommendation for Hauling a Dirt Bike With a 2012 Audi S4
Question:
Hi, my brother bought an etrailer hitch for his 2012 Audi s4. I want to use it to tow a dirtbike that weighs about 197lbs. Could I use a bike rack or tow with a trailer ? What would be the best way to go about this?

I recommend using a small trailer like the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer # K2MMT5X7 for hauling your dirt bike. With the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 391AUDA4A5S5T on his 2012 Audi S4 using a Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 will sit very close to the ground. With a carrier sitting low like that you will have issues with it dragging on steep driveways and possibly on curbs. The trailer will also give you more usability rather than only being able to carry the bike. It can also hold your gear after a long days riding to keep dirt out of the trunk.
