Reese makes two different styles of above bed fifth wheel rail kits like you mentioned that have pros and cons. The Reese Rail Kit part # RP50140-58 is an inboard rail kit which means the brackets install too the inside of the truck frame and not the outside. This has advantage of having rails that are a little shorter in height and in length. These kits generally cost a little less too. The Outboard Rail Kit part # RP56011-53 has the big advantage of having an easier install since the brackets are easier to line up on outsides of the frame rails. The rails are bigger though and the cost is higher.

Either kit will work just as well as the other overall and with the Reese 15k slider hitch you mentioned having.
