Solution On How You Can Install A WDS On Trailer With No Space On Trailer Frame
Question:
Ive got a Flagstaff 176ED that I tow with either my 91 Jeep Grand Wagoneer or my 98 Jeep Cherokee. Both of those vehicles sag quite badly at the rear when the trailer is hooked up. The Wagoneer sags badly enough that the dolly wheel will sometimes scrape on gradient changes and bumps. Ive been thinking about getting a weight distribution hitch to help with this. The trouble is that all the hitches Ive seen have ~30inch spring bars, which brings them right in line with where the battery and winch are located. How would I get this to work?

To be able to properly install the Curt MV Weight Distribution System # C17050 on your Flagstaff 176ED with limited frame space, I recommend installing the:
-Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # RP58305.
These brackets provide alternate attachment points for your WDS, and is specifically designed to eliminate any clearance problems by attaching to the side of the trailer tongue instead of the top.
I have also included an installation video of # RP58305 for you to check out as well.
