Does Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Work With 2 Inch Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

Hi, I recently bought a Draw Tite 2inch hitch Item # 75227 and had it installed on my 2013 Range Rover Evoque. Im looking for a bike rack and am considering the Kuat NV Item # NV22G. Is this rack compatible with the hitch I purchased?? Would this bike rack include everything I need to mount to this hitch? Is the tilt down clearance with bikes loaded enough to be able to open the Evoque hatch completely? Are there any essential extra accessories that I might need for this rack? It will be used for road bikes and mountain bikes with possibly e-bikes in the future. Thanks.

Thanks for the purchase of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75227 for your 2013 Land Rover Evoque, and the answer is yes, you can absolutely use the NV 2.0 bike rack you asked about, which is the following part number:

- Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # NV22G

The NV 2.0 # NV22G is 100 percent compatible with all 2" Draw-Tite hitches, including the one for your Land Rover, and includes everything needed to install the rack in the hitch, so you don't have to purchase anything else.

We haven't tested it (or other racks) on a '13 Evoque to know if you can open your hatch when it is tilted back, my educated guess is it will because there is a good 5 inches of clearance from the bumper to the closest part of the rack when it is folded down, and tilting it should allow for the hatch to fully open. Other vehicles with similar bumper clearances we have tested the NV 2.0 on have allowed the hatch to fully open, so I'm confident it will.

As for essential accessories, none are needed for the NV 2.0, as it comes with all necessary parts, including locks for the hitch and rack. The only thing you may want to consider, if you do wind up getting ebikes, is adding a ramp, the Access Ramp for Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # ANVBRB.
