Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2021.5 VW Atlas SELP For Carrying Bike Rack
Question:
I liked how the eco hitch was notched into the valance and more concealed, but looking at the Curt and Draw tite for the 2022's which is considered a tighter fit? We are only using the hitch for a luggage or bike rack and won't be towing anything with the Atlas so a wiring harness isn't needed and were fine using a riser hitch if needed. Let me know if you need any additional information.

I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76176 for your 2021.5 Volkswagen Atlas SELP. We have installed both the Draw-Tite and Curt # C24ER in our shop and found the Draw-Tite was 1/2" higher at 13-1/2" to the inside top of the receiver.
I know you mentioned not needing lighting but I am going to strongly encourage installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118754. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lighting # C53201 in the event your bikes or luggage impair the view of your tail lights to other drivers. It will also allow you to be able to rent small trailers if you need to move large objects.
